Investment Management
The Investment Management (IM) wing provides strong long-term returns across AVP-sponsored investment vehicles. The team manages capital on behalf of a diverse investor base, including institutions and private investors, through robust investment strategies and long-term ownership.
Our Investment Managers are responsible for originating investment ideas, evaluating opportunities for investment merit, and making discretionary investment decisions across AVP-sponsored vehicles.

Investment Research
The Investment Research (IR) team serves as an independent analytical function that supports the firm’s investment process by developing objective insights into markets, sectors, and individual opportunities across asset classes.
Investment Researchers conduct market and sector research, perform asset-level analysis and due diligence, develop investment theses, and produce research materials used to inform investment decision-making across AVP-sponsored strategies.

Investment Advisory
The Investment Advisory (IA) function provides investment-related guidance exclusively in connection with AVP-sponsored funds, vehicles, and mandates. We support investment positioning and portfolio-level considerations within the scope of AVP’s managed strategies.
Our Investment Advisors focus on advising internal investment vehicles and co-investment structures on strategy alignment, investment positioning, and mandate-specific considerations.

Portfolio Construction
The Portfolio Construction (PC) group is responsible for designing and maintaining portfolio structures across AVP-sponsored investment vehicles. The group specializes in how capital is allocated across asset classes, strategies, and exposures to achieve portfolio-level objectives.
Portfolio Constructers determine allocation frameworks, manage concentration and diversification parameters, and coordinate capital deployment pacing across strategies.

Portfolio Monitoring
Our Portfolio Monitoring (PM) department oversees the ongoing performance of AVP-sponsored investments following deployment of capital. It focuses on tracking performance against investment objectives and ensuring alignment with approved investment strategies.
Portfolio Monitors review financial and operational performance, monitor key metrics and milestones, and maintain oversight of portfolio companies and assets throughout the holding period to support informed ownership decisions.

Risk Management & Compliance
Our Risk Management & Compliance division provides independent oversight of risk and regulatory adherence across AVP Holdings’ investment activities. They establish governance frameworks designed to support disciplined investment operations.
Risk Management & Compliance officers work to define risk parameters, monitor adherence to internal policies, oversee regulatory and legal compliance, and escalate identified risks or breaches in accordance with established governance procedures.

Careers
Associate
Hybrid; Princeton, NJ
Associates participate in a structured, one-year program designed to provide broad exposure to AVP Holdings’ investment management platform. Associates rotate across multiple functions, including Investment Research, Portfolio Construction, Portfolio Monitoring, and Risk Management & Compliance, gaining hands-on experience with the firm’s investment process. Upon successful completion of the program, Associates may choose which department they'd like to join full-time.
The program emphasizes analytical rigor, financial modeling, research, and cross-functional collaboration. Rotational Associates develop a strong foundation in how institutional investment decisions are evaluated, implemented, and overseen across AVP-sponsored investment vehicles.
Generalist
Hybrid; Princeton, NJ
Generalists support multiple investment-related functions across AVP Holdings, contributing to research, analysis, portfolio support, and operational initiatives. This entry-level role is designed for individuals who thrive in a dynamic environment and are capable of working across disciplines within an investment management platform.
Generalists collaborate with all AVP Holdings' teams, providing analytical and execution support while developing a comprehensive understanding of the firm’s investment operations.
Internship Program
Hybrid; Princeton, NJ
The AVP Holdings Internship Program offers students the opportunity to gain exposure to the firm’s investment management activities through hands-on analytical and research-focused work. Interns contribute to live projects across research, portfolio support, and operational functions.
Interns work alongside investment professionals to develop practical skills in financial analysis, market research, and investment operations, while gaining insight into how institutional investment platforms operate across asset classes.
